The first class I ever taught in a gym was when I was 12 years old on holiday in Marbella. Over 10 years later, I still love it just as much and have even made my way back to Marbella from London!
I really believe that there is no one size fits all when it comes to keeping fit, the way to make exercise consistent in your life is to make it something fun; something you love doing.
That's why I'm trained in so many different areas, from Zumba to kettlebells and even Animal Flow. I practice what I preach; my most recent hobby is Aerial silks and hoop!
Alongside fitness I work in nutrition, specifically with eating disorders and disordered eating. For the last two years I have been delivering presentations at schools on the subject which is something I have now brought over to Spain.
I truly believe that being healthy looks different for everyone and small changes can have a huge impact.
Barre but without the barre! A fusion of Pilates, ballet and functional fitness, barre is a low impact and high energy What to expect? A lot of shaking in your muscles! This is because the class is based on I sometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements. There is a variation of traditional moves like a plank and squat, as well as curtsy lunges and plié’s.
